In an area of 824,000 square meters, Parque Zoológico de São Paulo (São Paulo Zoo Park) is considered one of the 10 best zoos in the world due to the diversity of animals it has. It is one among few in the world that has a complete collection of felines and simians. It is home to rare and endangered animals such as the Brazilian capuchin monkey and the Brazilian ant-eater. Additionally, the zoo has a library, stores, snack bars, restaurants, nursery school and parking lot.
